Forever Technical and Vocational College and China's 19th batch of assistance to Rwanda Medical Team jointly organized free clinics

On 18th February, China’s 19th of medical team and Forever Technology TVET Institute jointly organized a free clinic in Nyamata, which located in Eastern Rwanda.
China has dispatched medical teams to Rwanda since 1982. So far, more than 200 members have been dispatched, and it has not been interrupted for decades. the Chinese medical team has always been an intimate and warm symbol for Rwandan people. And also is a warm and sincere practitioner. Every time a clinic is held, there is always an enthusiasm for the local people to come and rush to take a photo to express their gratitude to the Chinese medical team. And this is a true portrayal of the friendship between China and Rwanda.
The Chinese medical team has contributed to the improvement of Rwanda's medical services. They not only serve a large number of patients in their hospitals, but also go out of the hospital for a free clinic. The new medical teams will continue to contribute to the friendship of Rwandan and China. Yang Wenhui, the team leader of the 19th batch of medical team, said that the medical team will train medical personnel for Rwanda.
Before the free clinic, Yang said that in Rwanda, due to poor medical conditions and lack of oral hygiene awareness, many people have oral health issue, the free clinic is very necessary.
A student from Forever Technology TVET Institute said: I am very appreciated to the free clinic, which is very helpful for me to find a job after graduation. When people are looking for a job, the companies always ask about the health conditions. But normally they don't have the conditions for a professional medical body check. This medical clinic is especially important for them. The medical clinic is not only face to the teachers and students of Forever Technology TVET Institute, but also the staff and students of the partner school-Nyamata TVET and surrounding residents. Around 120 people participated in total. In the future, Forever Technology will continue to integrate resources to give different kinds of help to Rwanda in education, economy and social welfare areas.
The co-organizer of this clinic is Forever Technology TVET Institute, which is affiliated to Forever Technology Development Co., Ltd. and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beijing Forever Technology Co., Ltd. It has established a mature technical system and good brand reputation in Rwanda and even East Africa.
With the increasing cooperation between China and Africa, many Chinese-funded enterprises will shift their production capacity, and localized talents will be an indispensable and important resource. Forever Technology TVET Institute, in-depth cooperation with local governments, schools and Chinese companies, is committed to building a vocational education development model that is compatible with Chinese enterprises and products “going out”, focusing on cultivating localization in line with the needs of Chinese enterprises for overseas production and operation.
The clinic was the first cooperation between Forever Technology TVET Institute and the Chinese medical team, which representing the behavior of the Chinese government. It also expressed the positive attitude of Forever Technology in keeping with the pace of the country and responding to the call of the country to help Rwanda's economic and social development.
On February 18th, the medical team came to the medical examination site very early to prepare. 14 doctors came to the site with medical instruments. There are total of more than 10 specific examinations on site including internal medicine, surgery, oral cavity, electrocardiogram, and abdominal color ultrasound. The medical team prepared a professional health check-up form in advance and placed it neatly. All participants registered personal information first and then queue up for the body check according to the order of the items.
